It's May 26th, 2022, a hot spring day. With summer just around the corner and [Y/N]'s graduation approaching closer and closer, the pressure was really on. Studying Dancing Arts has payed off though seeing as she was offered a job to be a dance teacher from some trainees at big K-Pop companies.
[Y/N] fanned her face with one a menu in her hand.
She's had this job ever since her freshman year of college and is glad she'll be able to pay off her student loan debt in no time.
Although working in a café wasn't very ideal at the time, her pay increased bit by bit over the course of 4 years working there.
Common customers know [Y/N] well, admiring her loyalty to her job.
"Good evening, [Y/N]. I'd like the usual please." Mrs. Pulter told [Y/N] as she approached the register.
[Y/N] put the menu down on the table and smiled at her.
"Of course, that'll be $7.42." She said while holding out her hand.
Mrs. Pulter handed [Y/N] her card.
[Y/N] swiped the card then handed it back to her.
"I'll call you up when it's ready." [Y/N] said.
Mrs. Pulter nodded at her with a smile and sat down at a nearby table. Her old bones have a hard time standing around for so long!
Business was going slow since the end of the day was approaching, it relieved [Y/N] that she could go home soon and just relax.
But of course, things just couldn't go the way she planned.
The bell on the door jingled, throwing [Y/N] out of her daydream of pure relaxation.
An ominous figure came into the store.
They had their hat tipped down so you couldn't see their face.
"Oh, hello! Welcome to Luna's Café!" [Y/N] called out to them.
The said figure didn't say a word as they walked closer to the register.
[Y/N] couldn't tell if she was sweating because it was hot inside or if she's sweating cause she's nervous.
She gave them an awkward smile even though they clearly couldn't even see her.
They looked up, tilting their hat up a bit.
[Y/N] tried her best to prevent her heart from exploding in that moment.
In front of her stood an attractive but worn out looking Jeon Jungkook with sweat dripping down the side of his face.
He glanced behind him before looking back at [Y/N].
"Hello, I'd like to order a-!"
The café's door swung wide open, the bell falling to the ground and shattering.
"THERE HE IS!" Someone interrupted.
In the doorway stood a sweaty and out of breath crowd of girls, yearning for the attention of their idol.
Before they could take any further action, Jungkook looked around desperately for an escape.
He ran past the register and found himself inside the janitor closet, locking the door tight inside.
[Y/N], completely dumbfounded and shocked, just stood there and watched the fans push their ways through the door and scatter around the café, searching for their dear Jeon Jungkook.
Poor Mrs. Pulter was surrounded by the crazed fans.
One of them sat down across from her with a serious look on their face.
"Old hag, where did you see that man run off to?" They asked firmly.
All the fans turned their attention towards the old woman, awaiting a response.
Mrs. Pulter gulped and shakily pointed towards the janitor's closet behind [Y/N].
"I believe I saw him go in there." She told them.
[Y/N] could already imagine how this was about to go down.
Without thinking, [Y/N] found herself bolting to the janitor's closet and unlocking it quickly.
As she opened the door, Jungkook grabbed her by the shoulders and dragged her inside with him.
He slammed the door shut, locking it just before anyone had the chance to turn the knob.
The banging on the door was extremely loud, making [Y/N] wince with every scream and thud.
Just what kind of fans were these?
She didn't have a single second to process the situation and now she's stuck in some small janitor's closet with the idol.
Everything was mover faster than she could've predicted.
In an attempt to calm her nerves, she let out a deep breath.
Against the wall of the small closet leaned back was Jungkook, watching her do it.
Neither of them knew what to do or say.
They're trapped in some cramped janitor's closet together until the fans either get in or eventually give up.
And they don't think the fans are going to give up any time soon.
Jungkook slid down the wall and sat down, pulling out his phone to hopefully find some help.
"I'm sorry, I didn't think they recognize me if I came in here." Jungkook spoke.
[Y/N] had her back turned to the boy and watched the door carefully, they could break in at any moment.
"It's not your fault, I just never imagined this would be how I met a celebrity." She said to him, her back still turned to him.
It IS his fault but of course if would be extremely rude to say that to someone as famous as him.
It's better she plays nice in hopes that this positive attitude will lead to a good outcome.
She crossed her arms when she grabbed her shoulders with her hand, feeling a bit surprised at his sudden grasp from earlier.
He did it without thinking too! What if she was one of the crazy fans?
[Y/N] took her hands off her shoulders and began rubbing her temples.
"God, it's only Monday. This was NOT how I thought things were gonna go." She grumbled.
Jungkook sat on the floor, looking down at his lap.
He felt guilty, bringing an issue to a girl like her.
He may not know her that well but he still knew it wasn't right to try and use her as an escape from his "fans."
Jungkook tapped his phone screen anxiously waiting for a response from his manager or one of the guys to come and save him.
The fans were still pounding on the door and yelling for Jungkook to come out and properly greet his fans.
"I can't believe I bought a ticket for one of your concerts just for you to treat me like this!" One yelled.
"We're what make you! Come out and give us what we deserve for supporting you." Another said.
[Y/N] held her hand on the door knob as one of the fans rapidly twisted it back and forth.
"I had zero clue it was this annoying being a celebrity." [Y/N] said, looking back at Jungkook to see what he was doing.
The man was on his phone speedily texting somebody, he looked more nervous than [Y/N] is right now.
--Jungkook, 4:52 PM : "This is all my fault, I don't even know how I managed to lose the security."
-- Namjoon, 4:52 PM : "I wanna know how you somehow ended up in a janitor's closet, LOL."
--Jungkook, 4:53 PM : "Look, can you just send the security my way at 'Luna Café' I think the girl said."

--Jungkook, 4: 54 PM : "Thank you! You're a life saver."
--Namjoon, 4:54 : "I know ;)."
Jungkook let out a sigh of relief knowing that somebody was on the way to rescue him and [Y/N].
But it might be a while.
Jungkook looked up at [Y/N] and gave her a goofy smile.
"Mind if I ask your name?" He asked.
[Y/N] glared at him, "It's [Y/N]."
Jungkook looked away from her.
Her tone made it clear that she wasn't the happiest at the moment, but who could blame her?
Jungkook got up off the floor and dusted off the dirt on his pants.
"I can hold the door if you want-!"
"I got it." [Y/N] interrupted.
She went wide-eyed.
"Oh, woah, sorry. I didn't mean that in a rude way, I've just sort of been in this situation before." She explained, not wanting to look bad in the idol's eyes.
He smiled at her again.
"Don't worry, I understand. Thank you." He replied.
[Y/N] looked away, she was a bit flustered.
"...Yeah... glad I can help."
There was an awkward silence between them.
Jungkook kicked his foot around a bit and whistled.
[Y/N] stood at the door, struggling to keep the door closed.
After what seemed like forever, which was really only five minutes, a couple security guards wandered into the café ready to rescue Jungkook.
They pushed through the crowd of fans and yelled at them at the top of their lungs.
"Move out the way before I make you move!" A security guard yelled as he made his way to the janitor's closet.
The other guard pushed the crowd back and blocked them from getting to the door with his arms spread out.
"Open the door so we can get you out of here." The security guard said, banging his hand on the door.
Jungkook approached the door as [Y/N] let go of the handle.
He unlocked the door and felt a wave of relief wash over him when he saw the guard's familiar face.
"Thank god, you're here!" Jungkook said.
He looked back at [Y/N] who was standing behind him.
"And thank you so much for helping keep the door shut, I'd be a goner if it weren't thanks to you." He said to her.
Before she could respond, the guard grabbed Jungkook's arm and pushed him out the café.
The fans followed and before [Y/N] knew it, the café was empty besides for Mrs. Pulter waiting patiently at the table for her coffee and biscuit still.
[Y/N] smiled, things are luckily back to normal.
She was extremely happy to have met a celebrity like Jungkook but just wishes it was under some better circumstances.
[Y/N] went back up behind the register and got Mrs. Pulter's order ready.
Maybe one day she'll met him again.
